Overview
Stainless steel does not stain, corrode, or rust as easily as regular carbon steel and offers an aesthetic appeal with antibacterial properties. Our stainless steel sheets provide an extra level of detail and aesthetic appeal.
Stainless steel sheets all differ in thickness and durability. Our sheets are thinner, usually 0.6mm or less. The most popular gauge is 24GA and can be used for virtually all applications. The higher the gauge, the thinner the material.
To prevent damage and scratches in handling and delivery, our quilted stainless steel sheets come with a PVC film on one side for temporary surface protection. We recommend installing the metal first and then peeling the PVC film.
The sheets can also be custom cut, depending on your specific requirements. To help with installation, we have stainless divider bars, J-Caps, inside corners, and outside corners. For details, please call (800) 935-1973.

Properties
Our 304 stainless steel, with its chromium-nickel content and low carbon, is the most versatile and widely used of the austenitic stainless steels. Because 304 has chromium and nickel, it proves to be resistant to oxidation and corrosion, while staying very durable. Our sheets are great for fabrication, are easy to clean, and are antibacterial.
Some other applications include electrical enclosures, auto molding and trim, wheel covers, hose clamps, exhaust manifolds, stainless hardware, storage tanks, pressure vessels and piping.
Maintenance
Stainless steel sheets need to be cleaned for aesthetic reasons and to preserve corrosion resistance. You can easily clean stainless steel in many ways. First we recommend using warm water with or without a gentle detergent. If the stain needs more attention, use a mild non-scratching household cleaners with bristle brushes, sponges, or clean cloths. For more aggressive cleaning, add a small amount of vinegar to the cleaning fluid and don’t forget to always follow cleaning with rinsing in clean hot water.
We recommend avoiding ordinary carbon steel brushes or steel wool as they may leave particles embedded on the surface which can lead to rusting. When trying out new cleaning products, make sure they are safe for stainless steel surfaces and test it on a corner.
